Deviation Actions
This is a little rant, just a heads up.
Okay, this has been something that has been a bother to me. Not just the past couple days, nor the past weeks. I am talking about years. Throughout the years I have seen and experienced people who simply just don't read descriptions.
When I posted Time on youtube 2 years ago, I had multiple people complain that I did not credit Hans Zimmer for using Time as the music in that video. However, if people simply just read the description, it clearly shows he is indeed credited.
Other times, more recently I suppose, I have had issues with Solar Flare pictures. Some people ask me on those deviations if Solar Flare is a nightmare form of Celestia, when it is established in the description. Other times I had to argue with people about her name in titles, too. Apparently nobody has heard of Solar Flare they tell me and have no idea who she is. So sometimes I am just tempted when I post her to just change the title to Nightmare Celestia to show that she is in fact a corrupted Celestia.
It just irks me that if everyone were to just take two minutes to read a couple of paragraphs about the pieces, 95% of all their questions would be answered.
I had wanted to try an experiment where I would post a rather confusing picture with a long description but hidden inside the text would have been a "Post a comment that reads "______", so everyone who saw that would in fact post the same comment if they read that in the description. So the comments would be filled with the same thing and others who don't read would ask what the heck is going on here.
So I guess to wrap of this little rant I must ask you this: What do you think the point of a title/description is? What do you personally put in them?

Moving on from dA (will still upload)
Skip to the bottom if you want to miss the rant I have here. It's really sad to even think about writing this journal, but I've kind of been forced to with the changes dA has done. It isn't fun for me to check my messages anymore and so many aspects of this site that I use are now entirely frustrating. So I am moving on from dA, but only with my activeness here. I'll still post art, but I honestly think that's all I am going to do. I don't like the dA group system anymore, much before even Eclipse came in. I liked having all deviations from artists and groups I watch put into chronological order from newest to oldest, seeing all the artwork. Ever since groups and artists works have been consolidated, it only shows the most recent one for that artist or group. I feel like for artists that isn't a bad thing at all, but with groups I feel like it is and I have seen the consequence of that in my own art when submitted to groups. Activity from users that don't watch me was higher and in

The Hardships of Basic Training (Long Journal)
I am going to try go into as much detail as I can now that I have had about two months since basic training to talk about what it was like for me. Now that I've settled down and been reintroduced with daily life, I think it's going to be better for me to look back and assess it instead of saying "It was awful and I hated it" or things like that. So lets get started.
So to join the military in general with the United States, you need to go to MEPS which is a Military Entrance Program Station I believe is what it is called. The military loves acronyms, by the way. MEPS is where you begin processing into the military. They do physical checks, e
Exciting Life News! (Upcoming Hiatus)
After auditioning for the US Army Bands, I won the audition! I’ll finally be able to make it on my own, earn good amounts of money, and no longer need to live at my parents anymore. This past year has been nothing but scavenging for money, saying yes to things that are unreasonable, barely being able to pay for my expenses and not lose money, and having many nights where I cry myself to sleep because I can’t escape this miserable situation. Finally that changes. Fucking finally.
With good news though comes other consequences. I will be leaving for basic training on the 24th of June. 8-10 weeks will pass before I make it out of th

I always read them, but I know a lot of people who don't, so if I submit something that might receive questions I put read description in the title and ignore people who choose not to read anyways. It's a little harsh but it works.
